Why do we need your support?
We need your support to implement the Duke Award where it can have a particularly big impact: at schools where many young people grow up in households in which several problem situations often collide.
Where young people are stuck in a downward spiral of poverty, poor starting conditions, failures, health problems, further failures and resignation, we equip them outside the classroom with the necessary self-confidence, the necessary resilience, the necessary skills and, above all, the necessary intrinsic motivation so that they can and want to free themselves from the cycle of inherited poverty on their own responsibility.

More about our impact
What do we use your donation for?
Every cent that is donated to us goes towards recruiting and supporting new public schools, particularly into supporting young people who grow up in households affected by poverty or other problems. Our goal is to support young people to break the cycle of inherited poverty and lead self-determined lives.
With 200 euros we can provide training for 5 new award leaders.
With 320 euros we can buy 4 Trangia stoves or 3 trekking backpacks. We lend these to students who do not have access to expedition equipment. If necessary, these are also loaned to schools on a long-term basis, with the requirement that they also be made available to neighboring schools. The coordination is carried out by our association.
With 2.500 euros we can win a new school, train teachers as award leaders, accompany them on an expedition and actively support them for a year. You are welcome to visit this school with us, get to know the students and accompany and support them in their activities or on expeditions.
