Transparency is important to us. That is why we have joined the Transparent Civil Society Initiative. We are committed to making the following ten pieces of information available to the public and keeping them up to date:

3. Tax benefit information

  • Our work is exempt from corporate income tax and trade tax under §3 No. 6 of the Trade Tax Act because it promotes youth welfare, according to the last notice of exemption we received from the Tax Office for Corporations I, Berlin (tax number 27/678/60314) dated 16.11.2021 under §5 Para. 1 No. 9 of the Corporate Income Tax Act.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award – Germany e.V. is licensed as the national award operator of the Duke Award by The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, based in the United Kingdom, and undergoes a re-licensing process on a regular basis.
