For many, the Award isn’t the end—it’s the beginning. Our Alumni network brings together people who share a common experience: They’ve taken on real challenges, taken responsibility for others, pushed boundaries, and learned something about themselves in the process. Whether Bronze, Silver, or Gold — each and every one of you carries this experience within you. And that’s exactly what brings us together.

You’ll remain part of a movement that empowers young people in over 130 countries. And you’ll help carry this movement forward with every connection, every conversation, and every collaborative project. Four times a year, we’ll send you our Alumni newsletter, which also includes a link to a curated list of events, scholarships, conferences, and festivals. You can access this link at any time; we update the list regularly. Once a year, we invite you to in-person gatherings.

Work together to advance the causes close to your hearts, bring your voice to social and education policy discussions, and change our world for the better—being engaged brings happiness!

Take responsibility for the Alumni network by organizing alumni get-togethers, group dinners, after-work gatherings etc. in your hometown (we’re happy to forward invitations via our mailing lists!).

How do you become an Alumna or Alumnus?

It’s simple: Did you complete a DofE level in Germany after 2021 and register in the ORB with a personal email address? If so, you’re already on our mailing list and should have received two editions of our Alumni newsletter.

For all others who have reached an Award: Please use the form at the bottom of the page—we’ll receive your request and add you to our Alumni network. We’ve tweaked the form slightly so you can enter your information as follows:
