On 31 March 2023, our network meeting took place in Berlin. Together with 40 Award Leaders from 27 schools, we discussed the opportunities and challenges of implementing the Award. The highlight was the ceremonial honouring of our particularly committed Award Leaders by First Lady Elke Büdenbender and our advisory board Prof. Dr. Barbara Ischinger and Hilke Schomerus. The meeting ended one day later with a mini-expedition through the Grunewald.

We were particularly touched by the words of headmaster Ronald Fischer (Schule am Schillerpark). He told us how proud he is of his former students who started with the Award in 2017 and are now sitting on the podium.
